Swann, Anderson and Broad behaving like cunts?

NEVER

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
In fairness, he says he has no problem with Swann, Anderson and Broad - he says that Matt PRIOR is a mammoth cunt.

Nontheless, the general tone is what always came across in his interviews. Far from being cocky and arrogant, he's actually quite soft-centred, and all he ever wants is to be loved. By everyone. Quite weird really.

Says that mistakes by the bowlers were never picked on but the likes of Compton , Bopara & Trott were hounded by Prior.

He was Sacked / Dropped at the right time.

Hardly scored a run since.

needs to shut up about it.

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
Fairs fair though; Prior had such such high standars that he never missed a catch or stumping.

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
Would this be the same Matt Prior who was responsible for getting Pietersen back in the team after the text scandal?

KP is a fucking egotistical wanker.

t20 International at Sharjah
Pakistan 96/9
Australia 97/4 (14 overs) Warner 53no

Any pitch on which Glenn Maxwell takes 3/13 is obviously substandard

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
England did look a happier team this summer with Prior sidelined.

If only because we didn't have to see his horrible fucking hat.

Oh I see the demise of England was all Matt Priors fault.

I hope he gives back his cricketer of the year award.

Paul Newman with what is quite a personal attack on KP:

Quite a lot true
Its also true that KP works for the Telegraph so the other papers are being shut out

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
The man is deluded.

In every cricket team I've ever played in the bowlers rule the dressing room, it's the way it is.
Most batsman are single minded and get inside their own bubble whereas bowlers are far more brash.

Love him or loathe him but Prior did a lot of good for England and before you all slag him off let's see if other people come out and agree with the "ego"

I might get involved, I don't think I've read a book for about 5 years!!!

"let's see if other people come out and agree with the "ego" "

To be fair, pretty much every new face from the past few years in the England dressing room have said supportive things of Pietersen in the last 6 months or so, how he helped them when they arrived etc. He was known to be a good presence for new players in a cliquey environment.
Not unreasonable to suggest that new players have found it much easier to come in to that environment this summer.
Whether that's the absence of Prior, are just the general break up of the team as a whole, I don't know.

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
I think it probably had to change Stewie, and it’s hard to keep carrying an ego when you’re part of a team getting dismantled by the opposition, and blaming new players when you’re playing rubbish yourself, like the whole team was.

stewie griffin 10:58 Mon Oct 6
Re: Kevin Pietersen book
I think you're correct, Jibbers. And whilst I have no doubt that Pietersen will embellish his side of it (mostly because him & Prior have fallen out), I also have no doubt that the old English dressing room was pretty cliquey and tough to come in to.
Which, like everything, is great when you're winning as we were for a few years, and goes to shit rapidly when things start going against you.

Re: Kevin Pietersen book
Whilst in the middle of a competitive match, he texted derogatory remarks about his own team to the team he was playing against. He should never have played for England after that.

I understood his confusion.
A S African texting things about a S African to other S Africans.
